Jake Norton grew up in snowy Syracuse, NY, but is a Philadelphian by way of The University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Penn with a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance. After graduation, Jake served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with New Kensington Community Development Corporation. After his time as a VISTA, he transitioned to a full-time position as a Commercial Corridor Manager. His work at NKCDC focused heavily on community outreach with local businesses.

Jake grew up near a 9-hole golf course and spent much of his time in his summers growing up at the local course. He picked balls at the driving range and assisted with events and tournaments. A lifelong athlete, Jake always had a love for the game of golf. He thinks the difficulty of the sport, the ability to play forever, and the serenity of playing a round on a beautiful Saturday afternoon is what drives his passion for the sport.

Joining the team in March of 2021, Jake is excited to get to work with the young people and positively impact them just as the game has impacted him. Jake’s favorite core value is Respect because he believes that we should always treat others the way we want to be treated.
