Kyle Spaulding grew up in Philadelphia, PA and was introduced to the game of golf as soon as he could walk. His father put a club in his hand and Kyle never let go. He loves the game because there is always an ongoing challenge to get better.

Kyle began his time with First Tee — Greater Philadelphia in middle school, during an in-school visit. He then joined the program in 2012 and remained a student until graduating from Central High School in 2016. He graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2020. While there, he played football for four years as a Wide Receiver and served as a Board of Governors Scholar. During his four years of college, Kyle spent his summers working at The ACE Club, home of The First Tee Invitational, as an Outdoor Services Attendant. Coming full circle, Kyle joined the staff as a Coach and Intern in summer of 2018 and now we are excited to have him full-time as a Program Manager in December of 2020. After serving our young people for a year in programming, Kyle was promoted to Director of Golf at Walnut Lane Golf Club.

Kyle’s favorite part of his job is implementing new and creative strategies to engage more young people with First Tee programming, so that they may grow into incredible young adults. His favorite core value is Perseverance, because he believes that everything he has done in his life so far has required consistent effort. Kyle believes that regardless of obstacles faced, if he continues to persevere, he will reach the levels of success he plans to attain.
