We had an absolute blast at our 7th Annual Tea Time Girls Golf Tournament & Fashion Show this year! Attendees participated in 9 holes of golf followed by a fashion show sponsored by Lilly Pulitzer and a luncheon. Our day at the Union League Golf Club at Torresdale was filled with competition, couture, and community!
Thanks to the support of our donors and attendees, we were able to raise over $50,000 to support our young women in golf and our mission of Building Game Changers! This was our biggest Tea Time event yet!

The day would not have been possible without the hospitality of the Union League. We cannot thank them enough for graciously hosting this event each year. A special thank you to all of our sponsors who continue to support First Tee, including the Bardaro Foundation, our Presenting Sponsor; PwC, our Presenting Sponsor for The Landing; Chris & Stevie Thompson, our Luncheon Sponsor; and GLA, CHUBB, Shanu Kurd & Meg Willoughby, our Golf Cart Sponsors. We’d also like to thank Lilly Pulitzer for sponsoring our fashion show each year, making it a day our attendees and young models will never forget!
The day began with 9 holes of golf and a little bit of friendly competition out on the beautiful course at Torresdale. Our First Tee participants were out on the course handing out personalized bookmarks made by the girls themselves and some refreshing lemonade!
Once everyone finished their rounds, they headed inside for the most perfect luncheon. Attendees listened to a fantastic panel moderated by NBC Sports anchor Amy Fadool. A huge thank you to our panelists, Jillian Mele, Kristen Casey, Eleni McCready, and Sarah Brand for sharing their powerful words of wisdom and advice for all those in attendance. It was truly inspiring to hear real-life experiences from these women who continue to inspire young girls every day!

Then it was time for the much-anticipated fashion show! Our 18 models absolutely stole the show with their confidence on the runway, striking a pose every chance they got. They were able to show off some iconic Lilly Pulitzer patterns that are available to shop online and in-store! After the show, the girls were surprised with gifts from EisnerAmper— tote bags stocked with golf essentials to make their time on the course even more fun.
But of course, this event would not have been possible without our founder, Caitlyn Plover. At 7 years old, Caitlyn came up with the idea to have a golf tournament followed by a fashion show, and today it continues to be a success every single year. This year was bittersweet, as it was Caitlyn’s last year as a First Tee participant. She is preparing to start her freshman year at Loyola University Maryland, and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Caitlyn, we wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors; we know you will do big things!
As we continue to reflect on this year’s event, we cannot thank all who attended and donated enough. Your support year after year continues to make a huge impact on our First Tee—Greater Philadelphia community. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
